Test Systems
Below is a list of systems on which the code detailed in this blog is tested. If you have set up and run this code on a different system or with a different version of the tools, please let us know via the contact form on the main Mere Idea site, or leaving a comment to a relevant post. This page will be updated as things change.
Current list of systems
- Fedora Core 9 (i386) on a dual processor system (2xAthlon MP 2800) with 1G RAM (Name: puffer)
- Windows XP as a dual boot on the above system (Name: barracuda)
- Fedora Core 9 (x86_64) on a 64-bit Sempron with 500M RAM (Name: sunfish)
- Debian 5.0 (i386) on Celeron with 500M RAN (Name: batfish)
- SuSe 8.0 (i386) on Celeron with 64M RAM (just for fun). (Name: trigger)

- gcc version 4.3.0, 4.3.2 and 2.95.3
- Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2005
- MinGW with gcc version 3.4.2

- Installed version – 0.97, 1.0.1 and 1.2.0
