Mere Idea is a software company which was set up to create some open source libraries and applications. However, the project seems to have taken a back seat to blogging about developing code.

The problem with a blog is that the articles are organised chronologically, and sometimes the information you may want can be spread over two or three posts, with possibly irrelevant posts (or months) in-between. For someone simply trying to find out how to perform a particular task, this can make tracking down the relevant information difficult. This wiki was set up reorganise the information in our blog posts in a more subject oriented way. It will give details about our repository code (including checking out and building), basic guides to the tools used and other information that may be of interest to our blog readers. It grows organically as guides are written, code changes and blog posts are posted.

We hope you find something of interest here, and maybe contribute to the wiki or code in the future.
